Holy crap it's been a LONG time since I posted something new! Sorry about that folks but I've been a busy little thing! Now I feel a little bit quilty for posting a question but I'm hoping you'll understand. If I live on the East Coast and it's 2:00 pm what time is that in Central Time?

I need to know this because an Insurance company is going to call me for a phone interview and he said it is based on central time. I should've asked but I didn't want to look like a fucking idiot, so i'll look like a dummy with you guys, you're not looking to hire me!

Seriously, hope everyone is doing well and i'll get with yinz as soon as I can, I promise!

  1. Central time is one hour prior, so if it's 2pm where you are (and where I am), then it is 1pm Central time (aka, Chicago and onward).

Time zones are a little stupid, I think. I mean, I understand their purpose but still, what a giant pain in the ass.

    Good luck with the interview!

  2. Yeah, holy crap!
No, there are more important things than blogging. I just can't think of any at the moment.
I think that time zones have outlived there usefulness. I mean they don't occur naturally. What's wrong with using UTC (Coordinated Universal Time), formerly known as Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).

  4. yup, true story, one hour behind you. My sister's on Central, I'm on Eastern with you.

if ever you get confused again, open any telephone book flip a couple pages and there will be a picture of the united states with area code's and time zones on it for ya! :)

    good luck with your interview!
