I can't wait to be done with school

Oops I really fucked up this time!

I got a letter from the school I attend which reads:
Dear Ms. Burnedoutw8ress(you didn't think I'd give you my real name did you?)
This letter is to inform you that you have exceeded the 20% limit for abscenses for the following classes: Oral communications and keyboarding IV(augh, and how important is it that I can type 90 words a minute and communicate orally, ha I know what I'm thinking how bout you?). You are being placed on absense probration for the remainder of the semester( that would be today, 1/13/10-1/15/10). We'd like to remind you that if you go above 30%, you will be automatically dropped from the classes (what the f? Would I really have to pay to take this stupid classes all over again; I'd rather have my toenails ripped out!). If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

Sincerely,
Hunter Hopkins, Director of Education

Um yea, Mr Hopkins, do you even have a clue as to what is going on in your institute of learning? Do you know that half of your students can't even speak proper English, they have no idea how to balance a checkbook, they don't know that America is a capitalistic country and not communist one. Let's see what else do these "students" not know; well how about common decency, respect for others and for themselves, the list could go on and on. I am not denying the fact that I have unexcused absences, but seriously I am carrying over 100% in each of these classes you say I've missed to much of. I could pass these finals in my sleep! Seriously why don't you contact the idiots that can't figure out how to fill out a job application and leave this 32 year old, 3.98 GPA carrying, smart-ass student alone.

P.S. Do you think you could write me a letter of recomendation for when I apply to a real college?

Thank you,
Burnedoutw8ress

  1. Hello my tiny heads,
I have been asked to submit a post of mine to be featured on another blogger's site and I have no idea which one to send. I think they're all kinda silly and unmeaningful(?) so if you have any ideas I'd love to hear em! Thanks a ton!

  2. You would think they would put you on probation for your grades and not your attendance. 3.98 GPA! AWESOME!!

Personally, I have a special fondness for "Yea, I'm a bitch, deal with it." I think that was one of your first posts that I read.

  5. This is exactly why people chose a career in waitressing over going to college. Assholes.

  6. Boy they've really loosened the attendance requirements since my college days. It was three and out, no ifs, ands or buts. The killer was that even hospitalization wouldn't provide a break other than to allow a withdrawal, which still was recorded on the academic record.
That said, I admire that you are determined to get your education. It's too bad that the so-called educators don't have much experience outside of academia.
